We maintain current certifications through regular renewal and practice sessions.

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)

ASIST is a comprehensive two-day workshop that prepares our staff to provide suicide first aid. This internationally recognized certification teaches us how to recognize when someone may be having thoughts of suicide and how to work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. ASIST emphasizes collaboration and empowerment.

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) Certification

CPI certification provides our team with evidence-based strategies for safely managing crisis situations. This comprehensive training covers verbal de-escalation techniques, non-violent physical intervention methods, and post-crisis support strategies. CPI emphasizes dignity, respect, and safety for everyone involved while providing practical skills for managing challenging behaviors.
