Welcome to Goshen Quality Care. Established in 2020 and based in Cold Lake, Alberta, we proudly serve the northern region of the province. Our mission is to provide personalized care and support for children, youth, and adults — with or without disabilities.
For individuals with developmental or physical disabilities, we offer tailored programs that focus on support, growth, and meaningful inclusion. For those without disabilities, we provide opportunities for care, connection, and community living in a nurturing environment.

Our Services & Care
We are dedicated to delivering an adequately designed range of services, programs, and resources that guarantee top-notch support for Respite care, Group living, and Adult Support Independent Living services to individuals with developmental disabilities and children and youth with disabilities. Our services ensure that the requirements of our clients are fulfilled through remarkable support and partnership. They are highly personalized and customized for each individual we assist, recognizing that uniqueness of individual needs.
Our Care Process
Referral
Our care journey begins with a referral from a healthcare provider, social worker, or family member. This step ensures that children (0-17 years) in need are connected with our specialized services in a timely and compassionate manner.
Assessment
Upon referral, we conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand each child’s medical, emotional, and developmental needs. This allows us to tailor our support with clarity and care from the very beginning.
Individual Care Plan
Based on the assessment, we create a personalized care plan that outlines the child’s specific goals, therapies, and daily routines. This plan evolves over time to match their growth and changing needs.
Family Collaboration
We work closely with families, recognizing them as vital partners in the care process. Through open communication and shared goals, we ensure each child’s journey is supported both in our home and theirs.
Home-Based Nurturing
We provide care in a warm, family-style environment that prioritizes comfort, consistency, and emotional security. Here, children receive the daily support and therapeutic interventions they need to thrive.

Current Facility – Cold Lake
Our Cold Lake facility is a licensed care home with a capacity of 4 beds, currently operational and serving children (0-17 years) and youth with specialized needs. Designed to provide both safety and comfort, the home offers a warm, structured environment where individualized care and therapeutic support are delivered daily. This intimate setting ensures a high level of attention and fosters deep, trusting relationships between staff and residents.
Coming Soon – 12-Bed Home
We’re excited to announce the expansion of our services with a new 12-bed home, set to open in October 2025. With the property already secured, this upcoming facility will offer spacious, accessible, and thoughtfully designed family-style bedrooms to ensure both comfort and dignity for every child. This expansion reflects our growing commitment to meet the increasing need for high-quality, home-based care in the region—while continuing to provide the nurturing, personalized support Goshen is known for.
